Mercer Area Library, 143 N. Pitt St., will hold a Scholastic Book Fair through Oct. 31 during regular library hours.

Children’s books, novelties, activity books, adult cook books and Christian fiction will be available for sale. Come in costume on Oct. 29 for a treat and to enter to win a door prize. Proceeds benefit the library. Details: 724-662-4233.
