Greenville House Residents’ Association will hold a Halloween fundraiser beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Pavilion, 9 Penn Ave., and continuing through the annual Halloween parade.

Featured items include “grandma’s homemade goodies,” hot dogs, beverages and Halloween treats for children.

A Chinese auction begins at 11 a.m. with the drawings at 2 p.m. Donated items include quilts, Christmas wreaths, gift baskets, gift certificates and gifts from Greenville and Shenango Valley area businesses.

Proceeds benefit Residents’ Association activities throughout the year.

Hartford Fire Association along with Burghill Vernon Fire Department will be having a pancake breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the old Hartford Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, located on Hartford Five Points Road, Hartford Township. Cost is $6 for adults; $5 for seniors; $4 for kids ages 5- to -12-years-old; and children younger than age 5 are free.
